FVM+ for Android V 0.2.3.3 Is now available

February 3rd, 2009

Contact loading and matching has been reworked from the ground up resulting in correct matching and improved speed. Bad contact data was the cause of some peoples issues with the application (no messages & force close), that data is now discarded and no longer causes an issue.

While loading the inbox a progress dialog is displayed to show activity and improve UI response.

Add/View contacts:

Now you can go straight to your contacts from a VM entry or add a new one if you didn’t have one before.

If you have any issues with this update then please contact us so we may try to determine the cause.

Note that we have been getting reports of the application saying that an SD card is required.  This is a check to see if the card is functioning properly before it is used.  We have found in every case where this message presents itself that the SD card has either become corrupted or read-only.

depression medicine list   The application does not cause these problems, it just notifies that there is an issue.  It is up to the user to determine if the card is faulty or not.

Keep in mind that the ‘Set password’ in the application only sets the password for the application on the phone and not the dial in or web passwords.

If you ever have any issues with the application not running or need to get your VM’s without your phone you can log in via http://members.phonefusion.com

Keep watching for more to come!

Our team continues to work hard and we have released version 0.2.2.3 of our Visual Voicemail for Android.

New Features include:-

Password protection for our application on your phone to prevent unauthorized access to your voicemails.  ONLY for the Phone, does not change web or dial-in passcodes.

Voicemail’s will no longer show up in media players.  We found a way around Android’s irritating ‘feature’ of finding any and all audio.  Jam with confidence now!

A minor re-work on processing old text messages.

Please go to the Android Market to download the latest version. Or click here if you are on your Android phone currently.

Finally a quick shout out to Jason A – boness66 (and the many others) for suggesting the Lock feature !!!

If you were, previously, having difficulty with the signup process with Fusion Voicemail Plus for Android, we have heard you and went right to work. The signup process has been GREATLY simplified. We have reduced it to 2 steps as opposed to waiting for the SMS, etc. If you were frustrated because of the signup process being such a pain, please give it another shot. Happy Thanksgiving!

November 27th, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from the PhoneFusion family. Even though its’ a holiday, we are still committed to communicating with our customers in a timely fashion regarding all our products. Today, we would like to address some more of the emails received from androidfeedback@phonefusion.com.

1. The fact that SMS messages show up in the status bar on your G1.

This is a part of the Android OS. We were told that they made this decision because people pay for SMS messages, so they should see each incoming message in the status bar.

You can try and lobby the Android Devleopment Team in their forum located

here.

2.I have FlexPlay and cannot set conditional call forwarding. Why?

We apologize, but T-Mobile does not allow FlexPlay customers to use conditional call forwarding. We wish they did.

3. I am hearing other audio sounds when listening to the message.

This is one that we’ve read in the comments via the Market. We are, currently, working hard on a fix for that.

Most of your answers can be found in our FAQ here.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback and, please, keep it coming! Happy Thanksgiving!
