Everyone loves the idea of visual voicemail – the ability to see and hear your voicemail in the order you want. We think it’s brilliant! But iPhone users have been frustrated by issues with AT&T’s visual voicemail service. Well, we have a solution. We’re proud to announce that the Fusion Voicemail Plus app is now available in the Apple iTunes App Store. This app raises the bar for what people can expect from visual voicemail. If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch, download Fusion Voicemail Plus here. Or the ad supported Fusion Voicemail Plus Lite app here.
Not only does the Fusion Voicemail Plus app solve those problems by circumventing AT&T’s visual voicemail, but the new app offers significant enhancements to the visual voicemail experience:
Facebook integration. Post voicemails and faxes directly to your Facebook wall
Personalized Greetings. Create special greetings for certain callers, or on certain days or times of the day
Voice “IM.” Rather than typing a long SMS or IM, this new feature allows you to create an AUDIO IM.
Voice Reply. Record a reply to a voicemail and return the audio file to any smartphone
Fax Capability. Now iPhone users can get faxes on their iPhone using their existing mobile number
Message Distribution to Multiple Handsets. For small businesses or families, messages can be delivered to multiple devices at the same time
You’ll also get voice-to-text, message forwarding, web and telephone access, filter options and multiple skins. There are two versions available. Fusion Voicemail Plus Lite is a free, advertising supported app. Fusion Voicemail Plus, without ads, costs a one-time charge of $1.99. The app is compatible with all three generations of the iPhone as well as the iPod Touch.

Contact loading and matching has been reworked from the ground up resulting in correct matching and improved speed. Bad contact data was the cause of some peoples issues with the application (no messages & force close), that data is now discarded and no longer causes an issue.
While loading the inbox a progress dialog is displayed to show activity and improve UI response.
Now you can go straight to your contacts from a VM entry or add a new one if you didn’t have one before.
If you have any issues with this update then please contact us so we may try to determine the cause.
Note that we have been getting reports of the application saying that an SD card is required. This is a check to see if the card is functioning properly before it is used.We have found in every case where this message presents itself that the SD card has either become corrupted or read-only.The application does not cause these problems, it just notifies that there is an issue. It is up to the user to determine if the card is faulty or not.
Keep in mind that the ‘Set password’ in the application only sets the password for the application on the phone and not the dial in or web passwords.
If you ever have any issues with the application not running or need to get your VM’s without your phone you can log in via http://members.phonefusion.com
Well, the development team at PhoneFusion have done it again. They haven’t stopped working on the Fusion Voicemail Plus for Android application and have released the 0.2.1.3 update. Here are the changes:
-The app checks for the SD card and will not run without one inserted
-New popup screen prior to registration to inform customers of SMS(text messages) and FlexPlay restrictions
-Contacts Integrations and optimization enhancements
-Improve audio issues with speaker and headset
-The number of READ, OLD and DELETED messages are now shown on the top bar of the application.
The update is LIVE in the Market on your Android device. You can go the Market and install the new version to update the application. Thanks and keep the feedback coming to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are aware of an outage that took place between us and one of our SMS providers from 9.18pm to 10.02pm EST Saturday Dec 6th 2008.
As a result messages received on your voicemails between these times might be delayed reaching your cellphones.
NO MESSAGES WHATSOEVER have been lost as a result of this outage and you can hear all of your messages online at http//fvmplus.phonefusion.com. Your username and password were in the initial e-mail you received from us when you signed up for our service.
As promised yesterday, the 2.12 update for Fusion Voicemail Plus for Android is available. Please re-download the app in “Market” on your T-Mobile G1. Also, keep the feedback coming at email@example.com. We love hearing from you!
